TOSHIBA Lineup expansion of photorelays by new products with high OFF-state output terminal voltage ratings that use P-SON4 package allowing high
Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation ("Toshiba") has launched photorelays, “TLP3483” and “TLP3484,” to expand the lineup of its TLP348x series. The new products use the P-SON4 package that has reduced the mounting area compared with the 2.54SOP package.
The new products feature high OFF-state output terminal voltage ratings by using high-voltage MOSFET chips produced in Toshiba’s new process[1] in their detectors. The OFF-state output terminal voltage rating of TLP3483 is 200 V and that of TLP3484 is 400 V. This allows the products to be used for various tester applications.
The P-SON4 package’s mounting area is 7.14 mm2 (typ.), which is about 74 % reduction from 2.54SOP4 and about 84 % reduction from 2.54SOP6, allowing high-density mounting.
The expanded lineup of the TLP348x series offers five varieties in terms of OFF-state output terminal voltage ratings : 30 V, 60 V, 100 V, 200 V and 400 V.
